Our Activities
Vendor Fairs: when the weather is nicer.
The events take place one Saturday a month
at the Anza, Ca. Pizza Factory.
In the past, we made weekly trips to Ontario, California:
We searched for gardening items that we could give away.
$5 pizza gift cards: We gave out 120 $5 pizza gift cards at the 4 fall vendor fairs. (Flip left/right for more) 
6-lbs of bird-seed-on-a-branch: On one of our recent forages to Ontario, we found bird seed that we will be giving away. Pollinator food. (Flip left/right for more) 
Weekly trips to big grocery stores with another non profit sometimes finds us with herb starts, which we give out to the community.

We handed out close to 600 bags of seed starting potting mix at our fall vendor fairs.
We had 13 varieties of vegetable seeds to share.
We handed out over 20,000 seeds to our Anza California community.
We are currently participating in the 2024 Summer Anza Farmer’s Market that happens weekly from 4-8PM on Thursdays. We set up our 10X10 canopy and share what we have. Lately it has been grow bags, seeds, and interesting gardening handouts that we find online.
These (except for upper left pic) are some random UV light pics taken from our garden before we moved to Anza. Ultraviolet (UV flashlight) brought out aspects we hadn’t seen before.
This is the 8’X20’ greenhouse (kit) that we built before we moved (2022) to Anza, Ca. We installed solar powered fans front and back, added custom workbenches, plant heating pads, and suspended LED panels for grow-lights. We added automated roof vents that open/close based on ambient heat. We put everything on timers. The greenhouse had filtered water and 2 GFCI protected runs of outlets down either side (20 amps each) and water piping.
We’ll post more details on this and other items in future updates. We will be reaching out to each of the manufacturers for discounts and/or donations to share with our Anza community (once tax exemption received).

There are so many styles of raised beds out there…
We decided to design our own and make it so the plants are accessible without having to bend over – maybe even wheelchair accessible.
More on this later, as the ‘elevated’ raised bed design progresses.
